Maximising opportunity

A need to evolve

One thing that can be said with confidence about any healthcare building is that the way in which it is used will change over time.

Planning with the future in mind

The nature and degree of that change is difficult to predict but experience suggests that changes in the way medicine is practiced, the increasing scope of services delivered, advances in technologies and the conditions that patients present will be significantly different in 10 or 20 years time. The life of a building needs to be considered in terms of decades rather than years. It is therefore inevitable that significant changes will need to be made to the layout and servicing of primary care buildings to accommodate these changes. We understand this and are careful to consider the need for future flexibility as part of the brief.
