Primary Asset’s Scottish office appointed on flagship project

Plans for a new prestigious primary care centre in South East Inverness have moved one step closer after NHS Highland selected Primary Asset as their preferred development partner for the project.

Following the comprehensive and formal selection process, Primary Asset’s Scottish office is now working towards detailed delivery plans to realise the new 4,500m² building.

The project, to be developed in South East Inverness, will provide superb state of the art accommodation for two GP practices, Cairn Medical Practice and Southside Road Surgery which have lists of 10,000 and 5,000 respectively which are both expected to expand significantly following relocation into the new building. There will also be a community health wing with a range of facilities including physiotherapy, podiatry, health promotion, dentistry together with new office accommodation for the SE Highland CHP management team. It is also anticipated that a new pharmacy will be incorporated within the development.

Nigel Pashley, Regional Development Manager of the Scottish Office, Primary Asset, comments:

“We are absolutely delighted to have been selected to develop this project which will greatly benefit the local community. We are looking forward to working closely with NHS Highland and the two GP practices in taking forward the design and procurement process in order to deliver a superb building that meets the GPs’ vision of primary care well into the future.”
